He has selected a unique team of technology- and business experts, together we develop our smart, realtime, and secure MYNXG platform. Our award winning secure IoT platform is implemented at several German and global industry leaders in Industry 4.0 and Smart Supply Chains solutions.

MYNXG is looking to expand the team with an Engineer who has an IP/IPR background and ideally has specialist knowledge in science or engineering.

Job Description

Together with the MYNXG CTO, you are managing the MYNXG patent portfolio including the creation, monitoring, competitive analysis of the MYNXG IP and IPR versus its industrial competitors.

The MYNXG IPR portfolio is outstanding in terms of innovation and is setting the defacto industrial standard. It is of outmost importance to analyse patents and technology of the IoT market to create MYNXG value.

Furthermore, MYNXG is aiming to find innovative ways to certify its technology and solutions to set standards for the industry together with its technology partners and suppliers. The candidate shall be able to create patents, manage the IPR portfolio and support the standardization as well as certification of our solutions with regards to ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443, CTIA crypto certification, 3GPP, and industrial communities like Profinet/Profibus, HART FieldComm, and further industry standards.

Requirements

• MYNXG has a patent portfolio of 20+ patents, that are defining the defacto standard for industrial IoT. In particular, this IPR is redefining chemical distribution including the secure and safety operations.
• Manage together with our US and EU patent counsel the creation of IPR and process our patent applications
• Research and analyze patents and advise business and engineering teams with respect to currently patented technologies
• Assist our engineering and leadership within the patent application process from initial application to granted patent
• Review draft patent applications and responses to office actions and provide instructions to outside patent counsel
• Conduct patent searches and evaluate search results
• Work with patent counsel to develop and execute strategies for protecting products and technology with patents
• Quality work and implementation of standards for the industrial IoT including ISO 27001, ISA/IEC 62443, CTIA and future security and IoT standards

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS

• Master of science in engineering or technical field, preferable electrical/communication/information technologies
• IP/IPR skills as patent engineer or similar education/practical experiences
• Practical experience as patent and/or quality engineer
• Strong written and verbal communcations skills and fluent language skills in English
• Programming and software skills are a plus
• Analytical and project management skills with with a high level of interest in technical/scientific questions
